Known to us all as Sky, she is a very pretty, feminine, lively and inquisitive young lady at home, but wary of new situations. A bit of a diva at times and a drama queen at others, Sky can be a handful. Despite this she is very loving and friendly. She adores the attention of those around her. She loves nothing more than to gallop over the beaches and sand dunes chasing seagulls.

Sky is beautifully put together and has lovely movement. She attended her first show at just 6 months of age, when, despite a serious attack of stage fright she qualified for Crufts 2008 at the Scottish Kennel Club Championship show. Following this, we sadly had to leave her at home, to play and grow on, due to an injury her brother had, which left us unable to make any further shows for the rest of the summer.

Sky returned to the show ring at the Northern Borzoi Open Show in September of the same year, but again was overcome by stage fright. Fearing that showing was not going to be for Sky we tentatively entered her in the Borzoi Club Championship Show and were delighted when she was placed 1st in her class and then went on to gain the title of Best Puppy in Show. She also brought home the trophies for Best Puppy Bitch and Best Puppy Bred by Exhibitor, thus following in her mother's footsteps. This was only her third time at a show and only her second Championship show.

Sky is such a lovely young lady that we will persevere for now with her at a few select shows, but sadly we may have to retire her from the show ring if it proves to be a stressful experience for her in the long run. We are seriously hoping that she has gained the confidence she needed now in the ring and will continue from strength to strength in the future.
