SKYRA SOUTHERNSTAR
Known at home as Silly Lilly she is a friendly, boisterous, young lady, who is full of the joys of life.
Lilly rules the boys and runs rings around them with her agility and movement. She is fast, keen and eager to please with a 100%
temperament and very outgoing.
Lilly made a promising start to her show career in 2005. At her first show she surprised us by being placed 3rd in Borzoi Puppy out of a
large class of older pups. At her second show she delighted us by winning Best Puppy in Breed and then going on to be placed 3rd in the
puppy hound group. However, her crowning glory came at her third show just a week later, when she was placed Best Puppy in Breed at the
Derbyshire County Premier Open Show and then went on to take Best Puppy in Show under Mike Gadsby (Afterglow) - still at only 7 months old. There were over 230 puppies entered in the show.
Following this Lilly attended the East of England Championship Show, the Leeds Championship Show and the Houndshow,
where she was placed 1st in the Borzoi Puppy Bitch class at each show. She was placed 2nd at the City of Birmingham Championship Show.
Lilly ended her puppy career in spectacular fashion by winning the Best Puppy in Show at The Borzoi Club Championship Show and
bringing home trophies for Best Puppy in Show, Best Puppy Bitch and Best Puppy Bred by Exhibitor.
In January 2006 Lilly entered her first class as a Junior and was placed 1st at the Manchester Championship Show.
Lilly was placed 2nd in the Junior Bitch class at CRUFTS 2006.
In May 2006 Lilly attended the Derby CA Open Show where she won Best of Breed and Hound Group 4 whilst still a Junior.
She then went on to be placed 1st in the Post Graduate Bitch class at The National Championship Show, aged just 18 months
and her first time in Post Graduate. Lilly was shown quite lightly through 2006 but when taken out was consistently placed in the
top two places of her classes.
Lilly passed her Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze Award with flying colours at the Manchester Championship Show.
A huge thank you to all the judges who have liked this very special young lady as much as we do. We hope to take Lilly out more
throughout 2007.
